About Bank End Waters
What are the nearest villages?
Finningley is the nearest village just 1.6 miles east of Bank End Waters which has 2 pubs (The Harvey Arms and ), The Golden Sun chinese takeaway, and a village shop (with post office). There is a bus stop nearby which takes you to Finningley and Doncaster.
In the opposite direction, 3.5 miles to the west is Westwoodside, a small village with the Carpenters Arms pub, China Kitchen chinese takeaway, Westwoodside Pizza & Grill takeaway, a village shop, and a post office too.
Which is the nearest town or city?
The city of Doncaster is just 7.5 miles to the east of Bank End Waters. Famous for horse racing and the prestigious St Leger Festival, its railway heritage, and in more recent years the award-winning Yorkshire Wildlife Park. The Cast Theatre offers a vibrant program of performing arts, concerts, and plays.
Are children & young teenagers OK to stay?
We are an adult-only park and the minimum age we allow to stay is 18 years of age. Children and young teenagers are most welcome in the farm shop and cafe if you have friends or family close by and you wish to meet up with them.
Can we bring our dogs?
Well-behaved dogs are very welcome! We allow a maximum of 4 dogs to a pitch. Up to 2 are included free of charge in your booking and a small fee applies to additional dogs. We also have a secure dog exercise area that is free to use at any time during your stay. Unfortunately, we do not allow any breeds that require a Certificate of Exempti0n for ownership.
About The Orchard touring caravan park
Is the touring park open all year?
Yes, Bank End Waters and The Orchard park is open to guests and seasonal pitch holders 365 days per year.
Are there toilets & showers on-site?
Yes, we have a dedicated toilet and shower block only accessible by guests staying within The Orchard park. The building includes male room and female rooms, each room has 4 cubicle toilets (male room also has urinals) and 3 cubicle showers. There are vanity areas with hand basins and hand dryers. A separate room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. A disabled toilet is also available.
Use of toilets, showers, and washing / drying facilities are included in your booking fee.
Can I bring more than 1 car?
If you are bringing a caravan or folding caravan 1 car is included in the booking fee. We allow 1 more car per pitch (so no more than 2 cars) for an additional fee. If you have a campervan or motorhome you may also bring 1 car for no additional cost.
Can I choose any pitch?
Our online booking facility allows you to check availability and select the pitch you want from those that are free on any given date. Seasonal pitches and those already booked will not be presented to you in the booking process. When booking over the telephone, our team will inform you of the pitches available. Please familiarise yourself with The Orchard park layout before making your booking.
What is the charge for electricity?
For the current 2025 season, we have decided to not charge extra for electricity, it is included in your booking fee.
Is there WiFi available?
Yes, we have dedicated WiFi available which is free to use. The password for connecting to WiFi can be found in the farm shop and cafe.
Can I have a fire pit or BBQ?
Yes, when used carefully. BBQs must use smokeless fuel. It is your responsibility to avoid any accidents or damage, please ensure your fires are completely out before leaving them for the night. A dedicated bin is provided for cold ashes. Seasoned hardwood logs are available to buy from the farm shop.
What are your arrival & departure times?
Arrival for entry to your pitch is 12:00 noon. On your departure day, we kindly request that you leave Bank End Waters by 11:00 am.

Are dogs allowed inside?
Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs inside due to health and safety considerations.
About our fishery
Can we hire fishing equipment?
No sorry, we don’t have fishing tackle for hire. We do, however, sell tackle and bait in our on-site shop.
Can my dog sit with me on the bank?
Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs on the banks of our fishing lakes out of respect for other day ticket anglers.
